The spend cap

The spend cap is a hard limit on how much your AI can cost.

Set a cap

Choose a limit per hour, per day or per month. You can also set daily caps for each agent, and switch on Saver mode to prefer cheaper models.

What happens at the cap

• A task whose worst-case cost would cross the cap does not start.
• When the cap is reached, work stops.
• One card offers Raise and resume, or Keep paused.

Who can change it

Only your click in the system dialog can raise a cap. Anything can lower one.

Purchases are separate

Buying things is off by default. When you turn it on, every purchase needs its own Buy click and stays inside limits per purchase, per day and per month.
